So i have a Touch screen factory MOPAR stereo outta a wrecked 2008 town and country. Will fit my 05 ram 3500, the problem we have is the CAN BUS. We have 12v power to the head, but we need to fool the head unit with some sorta Analog to CAN BUS attatcment. Since the 2005 DODGE ram does not have a CAN BUS off the ECM to the factory Stereo we need to tell the NEW touch screen to turn on.(THATS what the CAN BUS does). SO if anyone knows or has hurd of anything would be great. IF not then i guess Were the first ones to try this.
Searched the internet high and low but only found CAN BUS adaptors for Trucks that have CAN BUS and want to install after market stereo's.(06 and up)
